BWSC Bosun's Day 2012 Poster

The Baltic Wharf Sailing Club is a small, informal RYA affiliated dinghy racing club, sailing in the floating harbour within the heart of the historic city of Bristol. We enjoy spending time on the water and improving our sailing through racing. Racing is friendly, yet competitive, and provides a challenge for both experienced sailors and beginners. We try to provide a supportive environment for our newer members.

Our BWSC Wednesday cruising programme encourages sailors to meet up during the week when it's more likely for other members to be on the water, providing some re-assurance, support and encouragement to our many sailors.

In addition to Wednesday cruising we meet on Saturday afternoons to race. During the summer months we also enjoy an evening sail on Thursdays.

The club's Powerboat is available to assist sailors during all races and events.

The club has, and will continue to host some high-profile sailing events; our last event was the Access TT Open.
We also endeavour to organise visits to other clubs whether they are recommended by our members or the BWSC is invited by another club or organisation to sail with them.
